Midland Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Scholarship

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a public service sorority, was founded in 1913 on the campus of Howard University. There are over 200,000 predominantly African-American, college educated women in more than 900 chapters located in the United States and beyond.

The Midland Alumnae Chapter was chartered in 1984 and has worked tirelessly to promote the goals of the national organization in Midland’s community. This scholarship is for African American high school seniors. To qualify, applicants must be graduating in the class of 2022 have a minimum 2.75 GPA, plan to attend a two or four-year college or university ,made contributions to their school and community and participated in extra-curricular activities.

As part of the application process an essay is required. The scholarship application must be received by March 31,2022. Please email applications and a Headshot to midlandmidst@gmail.com.
